'There are coaching courses available for everyone, including those who may consider themselves novices.'
- Director of Cricket Philip Smith

Do you have a passion for cricket and want to help develop the skills of the next generation of players? Mill Hill Village Cricket Club is calling for volunteers to assist in coaching their junior cricketers.

The club is seeking individuals who are willing to offer a little bit of their time and enthusiasm to help young players develop their skills. Whether you have experience as a coach or are a novice the club will foot the bill for courses at Middlesex CCC's Summer Coach Education Programme to provide you with the necessary tools to help you get started.

Director of Cricket Philip Smith said: "Would you consider helping out with the coaching of our wonderful junior cricketers at Mill Hill Village CC? There would be no obligation or specific time commitment necessary - just a willingness to help out when able. If this is something that you might consider but are worried about lack of training or experience, then we have a solution. Not only, would I introduce you very gently, but there are also coaching courses available for everyone, including those who may consider themselves novices. Coaching is an area where your help would be most appreciated."

The ECB Support Coach course is a great introductory course that will equip you with the basic tools needed to start your coaching journey. The Level 1 Foundation Course is designed for those with limited coaching experience who want to progress with basic coaching. For those who have played cricket or have coaching experience already, the Level 2 Core Coach course is available. The courses take part in Finchley as well as Greenford and Teddington.

See the PDF below for full course details.

The club will cover the cost of any of these courses in exchange for a few hours of your coaching support time. This is a great opportunity for those who are passionate about cricket and want to give back to the community.

Female coaches are especially sought after as the club looks to support the growth of girls' cricket, an area with enormous potential that everyone at the club and the wider game wishes to see grow and thrive.
