Exciting plans for this year's indoor winter training programme for juniors can be revealed.
Indoor sessions this year start on Friday, January 24 at Mill Hill School (pictured above) and promises to help young players sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.
The indoor programme, which runs at the school for 10 sessions until March 28, is tailored to juniors of all ages and abilities.
Tailored training for all skill levels
Mill Hill School Sports Hall, 5.40pm–7pm: Suitable for the younger cohort, who have not commenced playing matches yet. This will consist of a warm-up, skills, drills/technique training and structured games practice using soft balls.
Mill Hill School Gallery Nets, 6pm–7.30pm: Generally for our juniors who have started playing matches and are comfortable playing with a hard ball. This is a traditional, supervised net practice.
We will split the nets sessions into two distinct 45-minute periods.
:: 6-6.45pm–1845 for U11s and below
:: 6.45pm-7.30pm for U12s and above.
The club has made participation accessible with a range of cost options:
Sports Hall (younger cohort)
:: £70 one-off fee for a block booking of the full programme - up to 10 sessions.
:: Or, £8 per session on a pay-and-play basis. You can turn up to as many, or as few as you like.
Gallery Nets
:: £50 one-off fee for a block booking of the full programme - up to x10 sessions.
:: Or, £6 per session on a pay and play basis. You can turn up to as many or as few as you like. (Possibly increasing to £60 / £7 if the duration is extended to 1 hour)
