Hamdard Jan Temori has been voted the new 2nd XI captain, taking over from Shiban Sayed, who has stepped up to become a member of the 1st team squad.

Hamdard said: "I am honored to have been elected as the 2nd XI captain. I want to thank all the members who took part in the voting process. Your trust and support mean a great deal and make me commit to leading this wonderful team responsibly."

MHVCC Committee member Pryank Patel, who organised a club vote, said: “I am sure that the whole club will stand behind and support Hamdard in his new role. We wish Hamdard all the luck and success in his role.”

In a further change, Pryank himself and Ken Shakoor swap roles: Pryank (pictured above) will captain the 3rd XI this year while Ken becomes skipper of the 4th XI.

Mill Hill Village Cricket Club congratulates the quartet on their appointments and wishes them and their teams all the best for the season ahead.
