Mill Hill Village to host Cricket Week in July

Club to play 11 fixtures in six days next month, including a clash against Paddington CC in memory of colts founder Ron Bunning on July 19

Mill Hill Village Cricket Club will play 11 fixtures in six days as part of Cricket Week in July.

Cricket Week starts with four Herts League fixtures, including two home fixtures, on Saturday, July 15.

Cricket Week 2024: key fixtures (all at home)
Wed July 17: MHVCC Development & Friendly XI vs Old Minchendenians CC, 1pm
Thurs July 18: MHVCC Friendly XI vs MHVCC Chairman's XI, 5.30pm (T20)
Fri July 19: MHVCC Friendly XI vs Paddington CC, 5.30pm (Ron Bunning T20 memorial game)

Then a Mill Hill Village Development & Friendly XI face Old Minchendians on the front field of the club's Burtonhole Lane home ground on Wednesday July 17 at 1pm.

A Mill Hill Village CC Friendly XI meet a Chairman's XI in a T20 match on Thursday, July 18 (5.30pm start).

A Village XI then take on Paddington CC in the much-anticipated T20 fixture in memory of MHVCC colts founder Ron Bunning, competing for the Ron Bunning Memorial Trophy - on July 19 (also a 5.30pm start).

The club has four more Herts League fixtures on Saturday, July 20, capping a busy week of matches and providing plenty of chances for members and supporters to play and show their support. Sunday fixtures during Cricket Week are TBC.

Players will be asked to signal their availability closer to the time.
