About us
A non-profit organisation in a picturesque corner of northwest London with a proud history of more than 150 years, Mill Hill Village Cricket Club invites new members to join our club regardless of cricketing experience, ability or age.

New members are always welcome to join our club regardless of cricketing experience, ability, or age. All full members can use our new state-of-the-art outdoor practice nets, completed in summer 2023.

Mill Hill Village Cricket Club also provides cricket coaching for over 200 local children and assists coaches and trainers in obtaining relevant sporting qualifications to support our junior members. Email the club for more information.

Our teams
We are currently recruiting players of all standards and ages for the following:
:: four Saturday adult teams, who play in the Saracens Herts Cricket League
:: an adult team playing friendlies on Sundays
:: mixed junior teams at Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 level (see link below)

MHVCC also field teams for adult midweek fixtures.

Recent success
2022 was the MHVCC's most successful season in 30 years, with both its 1st XI and 2nd XI sealing promotion in the Herts Cricket League by winning their respective divisions. In 2024 our 1st XI and 4th XI teams won promotion and we also won the T20 Cup for teams in the lower/regional divisions.

A lively social scene
We also host an annual seven-a-side football tournament in spring, put on a popular President’s Day on August bank holiday and stage a six-a-side cricket competition across our two pitches at our Burtonhole Lane home every September.

With a lively social scene, including team curries and Christmas dinner, the club takes pride in its off-field events and are making improvements to our clubhouse.

Subscriptions and match fees

Full Club Membership

The cost of a Full Club Membership for adults in 2024 was £300 for the season.

This included
- ALL matches (Saturdays, Sundays, Midweek, T20s, etc), if selected
- new club shirt, sponsored by Ava Waves Juries Ltd
- use of the club’s brand-new state-of-the-art net facilities at no extra cost at organised sessions or by arrangement
- full voting rights

Costs for 2025 will be confirmed in due course.

The club also offers a Player Membership for adults who are likely to make only a handful of games or less.

Player Membership

The alternative is the Player Membership, a “pay as you play” option.
- £20 per league match
- £15 per Sunday match
- £10 per other friendlies
- £5 per T20 match
- £5 per net session

Please note that only full club members will be entitled to a free club shirt.
