About Mill Hill Village Cricket Club
A non-profit organisation in a picturesque corner of northwest London with a proud history of more than 150 years, Mill Hill Village Cricket Club invites young cricketers to join our club regardless of cricketing experience or ability. Juniors can use our new state-of-the-art outdoor practice nets, completed in summer 2023.
Fully accredited
Mill Hill Village Cricket Club remains fully accredited by ECB Clubmark, demonstrating that we are recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling club for participants of all ages. The club provides cricket coaching for over 200 local children and assists coaches and trainers in obtaining relevant sporting qualifications to support our junior members. For more information, please contact Director of Cricket Phil Smith on 07976 297721 or email info@millhillvillagecricketclub.co.uk.
2025 outdoor season
The outdoor season begins with its first outdoor training session on Friday, April 25 (6.30pm-8pm), with age group matches starting the following week. Friday nights provide sessions tailored according to age group/ability with qualified coaches supplemented by volunteers. Equipment can be provided. The club has recently completed state-of-the-art nets for use by the juniors, under adult supervision, on Friday nights.
The final Friday night training session of the outdoor spring/summer programme is on July 18.
League matches generally take place once or twice a week until late July.
Mill Hill Village runs three girls teams (under-10s softball, under-11 hardball and under-12s softball). We run the girls teams in partnership with Finchley CC and share training and matches across the two clubs/venues.
Mill Hill Village also runs mixed teams at under-11s, under-12s, under-13s (As and Bs), under-15s and under-17s sides, providing lots of opportunities for children to play hardball league cricket, playing mostly on weekday evenings. Older children may also get the opportunity to play adult league and friendly cricket.
Selection and administration is handled via the easy-to-use ClubSports365 app.
Registration fees/annual subscriptions
Registration fees/annual subscriptions for the 2025 season are frozen at the same price as last year (and the year before that). They remain some of the most competitive around and are as follows:
:: £150 annual membership fee covering all junior training sessions (13 90-minute Friday sessions in total) and all junior matches for the whole outdoor season. The fee also covers the cost of an MHV Club Cap (or possibly a shirt, if you are new to the club or to matches, subject to stock availability).
:: £100 annual membership fee for non-match playing Juniors (usually Under 9s). We may be able to provide a training shirt or similar, but this is also subject to limited stock and size availability.
